Your ILG PA ID badge is a symbol of professionalism and commitment to providing quality care. Here’s what you need to know:
Badge Delivery Time
Your ID badge will be processed and posted within 5-7 working days after your membership is activated. If you have requested a new badge, this will be posted 5-7 working days after confirmation.
Meaning and Significance
Wearing your ID badge signifies your role as a dedicated personal care assistant, recognized and respected within the caregiving community.
Code of Conduct
By wearing the badge, you agree to adhere to ILG PA’s Code of Conduct, upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in your caregiving practice.
Lost Badge
In the unfortunate event of a lost badge, please contact our support team immediately at hello@ilg-pa.com. We will assist you in getting a replacement badge promptly.
Need to replace or update your badge?
We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to replace or update your ILG PA ID badge.
Lost or Update Request
If you have lost your badge or need to update the information on it, simply contact our support team. We will guide you through the process and assist you accordingly.
Complimentary Badge for Long-Term Members
As a gesture of appreciation for your continued membership, we offer one complimentary badge replacement after every 3 years of your most recent badge.
Replacement or Update within 3 Years
For members who require a replacement or update within 3 years of receiving their most recent badge, a fee of £5 will be charged. This fee covers the cost of the badge, administrative processing, and postage.

Code of Conduct
By wearing your ILG PA ID badge, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to our code of conduct. Please familiarise yourself with these guidelines to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
Non-Transferable
This card is non-transferable and only intended for use by the ILG PA member to whom it was issued.
Eligibility or Violations
ILG PA reserves the right to revoke the ID badge if the individual no longer meets the eligibility requirements or violates the code of conduct.
Ownership
This card remains the property of ILG PA at all times.
Lost or Stolen Badges
In the event of a lost or stolen ID badge, please report it immediately by contacting us at hello@ilg-pa.com. We will assist you in issuing a replacement badge.
As an Employed Personal Care Assistant (PCA) member of ILG PA, we expect you to adhere to the following code of conduct, recognising the unique dynamics of your role as a PCA employed by the individual you care for:
- Professionalism:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in your interactions with your employer.
- Respect confidentiality and privacy, understanding the importance of maintaining boundaries between personal and professional relationships.
- Communication:
- Foster open, transparent, and respectful communication with your employer.
- Actively listen to your employer’s preferences, concerns, and feedback, ensuring effective and compassionate communication.
- Ethical Behavior:
- Uphold ethical standards, placing the wellbeing and dignity of your employer at the forefront of your care.
- Respect your employer’s autonomy, cultural beliefs, and personal choices, while ensuring their safety and promoting their independence.
- Health and Safety:
- Prioritise the health, safety, and wellbeing of both yourself and your employer.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection control measures, and any specific care instructions outlined by your employer.
- Accountability:
- Take responsibility for your actions and the quality of care you provide to your employer.
- Report any concerns, incidents, or breaches of conduct to your employer and follow appropriate procedures for resolution.
By upholding this code of conduct, you contribute to the wellbeing of your employer and the professionalism of the PCA role. Failure to comply with this code may result in the termination or suspension of your ILG PA membership.
