    • Actively listen to your employer’s preferences, concerns, and feedback, ensuring effective and compassionate communication.
  3. Ethical Behavior:
    • Uphold ethical standards, placing the wellbeing and dignity of your employer at the forefront of your care.
    • Respect your employer’s autonomy, cultural beliefs, and personal choices, while ensuring their safety and promoting their independence.
  4. Health and Safety:
    • Prioritise the health, safety, and wellbeing of both yourself and your employer.
    • Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection control measures, and any specific care instructions outlined by your employer.
  5. Accountability:
    • Take responsibility for your actions and the quality of care you provide to your employer.
    • Report any concerns, incidents, or breaches of conduct to your employer and follow appropriate procedures for resolution.

By upholding this code of conduct, you contribute to the wellbeing of your employer and the professionalism of the PCA role. Failure to comply with this code may result in the termination or suspension of your ILG PA membership.

ILG PA is a membership platform specifically designed to support Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in their professional journey, offering valuable resources, benefits, and a supportive community.

Who can join this membership?

ILG PA’s “Employed Personal Care Assistant” membership is open to all Personal Care Assistants that are employed by an Individual Employer. 

What benefits are included in this membership?

This membership offers a range of benefits, including a Personal Care Assistant ID badge, a 24/7 counselling and advice line, health and wellbeing support, access to a personal financial and debt information helpline, MyMindPal—an online interactive mental fitness tool, and an exclusive rewards and discounts platform.

Can my employer pay for this membership?

Yes, if your employer receives a Direct Payment, Personal Health Budget or self funds, they may be able to cover the cost this membership as part of your employment benefits. Speak to your employer about this option.

How long will it take to receive my ID badge after signing up?

We understand the importance of having your Personal Care Assistant (PCA) ID badge, and we strive to process and deliver it to you as soon as possible. The processing and postage of your ID badge typically takes between 7 to 10 working days. Rest assured, all fees, including postage, are already included in your membership, so there are no additional costs associated with receiving your ID badge. Once it’s ready, we’ll ensure it’s promptly dispatched to you, allowing you to proudly display your official identification as a valued ILG PA member.

Is my personal information safe with ILG PA?

Absolutely. ILG PA values your privacy and ensures that all personal information provided during the registration process is treated with the utmost confidentiality and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your ILG PA membership at any time. Either login and go to your account page or simply contact hello@ilg-pa.com.
